So… what a day yesterday turned out to be ❤️🍻 A massive THANK YOU to the people of Whitby for the incredible support shown on our opening day. The comments and feedback have honestly been amazing. You were patient when things got busy, understanding when we fell behind a little, supportive of the team and then topped the night off by partying with us to celebrate The Granby officially reopening 🌊 After everything this pub has been through, seeing it full of life, laughter and people enjoying themselves again meant the world to us. We’re only just getting started… and we can’t wait to keep building something special with you all 🍻 Tonight it’s European Final action 🏆⚽🍻 Crystal Palace 🆚 Rayo Vallecano UEFA Conference League Final – 8pm European silverware on the line, live on t’big screens with pints flowing 🍺🔥

So… what a day we’ve had at The Granby today! 🍻 Our first of TWO Friends & Family events absolutely flew by and thankfully seemed to go down an absolute storm! Loads of happy faces, plenty of positive feedback and a few tired staff already 😂 Tomorrow it’s time for the big Sunday Lunch test run before we all collapse for a well-earned rest on Bank Holiday Monday (yes… we know, shocking in hospitality 🤣). Then comes the big one… doors officially open at 11am sharp on Tuesday morning and we genuinely cannot wait to give the people of Whitby their Granby back 🌊
So we have an amazing opportunity this weekend for our Friends and Family event Saturday & Sunday. We give you food for free and you pay for your drinks!!! This gives us the chance to test the team and highlight any issues we have before we officially open on Tuesday.
